Sub Occipitals Stretch

  1. Sit on a chair
  2. Hook the hand on the same side as the muscle to be stretched underneath the chair
  3. Sit up tall‚ shoulders back‚ chest out and chin tucked in
  4. Cheek bones over collar bones
  5. Maintain this position while you bend your neck sideways (ear to shoulder) away from the arm tucked under the chair
  6. Slowly drop chin to chest
  7. You can add overpressure with the other hand is you wish
  8. Maintain normal relaxed breathing
  9. Hold for prescribed period and then relax
