Passive Extensions
- Lie on your stomach on the floor
- Place your hands on the floor by your side‚ at shoulder level
- Completely relax your back and buttock
- Push up with your arms‚ lifting your chest off the ground
- Keep your chin tucked in‚ keeping your neck long whilst maintaining a neutral cervical position
- Push up as far as comfortable or until your hips rise off the floor
- The back should be gently curved from the upper to lower back‚ not arched sharply at one location
- Hold for prescribed period and return to start position
