Spine Exercises
Please choose a spine related exercise from the menu below.
Dorsal Glide with Rotation
- Sit or stand
- Place a doweling rod along the top of your shoulders‚ behind your neck
- Push chest up and outwards‚ pulling shoulders down and backwards
- Relax your neck muscles
- Keep eyes on the horizon at all times during the exercise
- Without tilting your head forward or backwards‚ draw your chin directly backwards‚ giving yourself a double chin
- This should align your cheek bones over your collar bones
- Maintaining this position‚ slowly rotate your trunk‚ without rotating your neck relative to your trunk.
- Slowly return to the start position and repeat for the other side
