Shoulder Exercises

Theraband Up and Away
- Place the Theraband in the bottom of a door frame
- Stand with feet shoulder width apart‚ or kneel at a 90° angle to the wall
- Draw belly button to spine
- Grip the end of the Theraband in your outside hand (exercise side)
- Your arm should be placed across your chest‚ at an angle towards the opposite hip
- There should be some tension on the band in this position
- Slowly pull up and away from your body towards the ceiling
- The end position is with the arm fully extended at an angle close to 135° from the floor
- Hold for the prescribed period and slowly return to the start position
- Concentrate on slow‚ smooth‚ controlled movement
