Shoulder Exercises

Theraband External Rotation
- Place the Theraband in a door or attach to suitable item at approximately hip height
- Stand with the exercise arm farthest from the wall‚ trunk and head facing at a 90° angle to the band
- Tuck your elbow into your side with elbow bent to 90°
- Place feet shoulder width apart and draw belly button to spine
- The start position is arm across chest whilst maintaining the elbow in contact with your side
- There should be some tension on the band in this position
- Pull outwards to 100° or until you cannot move any further
- Slowly control the movement back to the starting position‚ concentrating on slow‚ smooth‚ controlled movement
