Shoulder Exercises

Theraband Down and Across

  1. Place the Theraband in the top of a door frame
  2. Stand with feet shoulder width apart‚ or kneel at a 90° angle to the wall
  3. Draw belly button to spine
  4. Grip the end of the Theraband in your inside hand (exercise side)
  5. Your arm should be lifted up from your side at an angle of 135°
  6. There should be some tension on the band in this position
  7. Slowly pull down and across your body towards the opposite hip
  8. Hold for prescribed period and slowly return to the start position
  9. Concentrate on slow‚ smooth‚ controlled movement
