Gastocnemius Stretch (Calf)

  1. Place your hands against a wall and the leg to be stretched should be placed further back than the non stretch leg
  2. Keep knee straight and lean forward‚ bending your elbows until you feel a stretch in the upper calf
  3. Ensure the foot is facing directly forward and that the middle of the knee cap aligns with the second toe
  4. Do not allow the foot to rotate in/out or the knee to drop inwards
